Immigration Evaluations with Cultural Sensitivity and Care
We prepare psychosocial and psychological reports for immigration matters with thoroughness, compassion, and attention to detail. Our evaluations are designed to support immigration cases with clarity, professionalism, and a strong understanding of the emotional impact these experiences can have on individuals and families.
Our evaluations may also include the use of verified, statistically reliable psychological testing measures when clinically appropriate. These evidence-based assessment tools help support and strengthen our clinical findings by providing objective data that can be clearly documented within the report. The integration of psychological testing can enhance the credibility and depth of an evaluation, helping create well-supported reports that serve as strong advocacy tools in immigration and court-related matters.
Services are available in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, allowing us to support clients from a wide range of backgrounds with cultural sensitivity and ease of communication.
Support for Infertility and the Emotional Challenges of Family Building
Infertility can be emotionally exhausting and deeply personal. We provide psychotherapy and supportive consultation for individuals and couples navigating infertility, fertility treatment, pregnancy loss, uncertainty, and the complex emotional impact of the family-building process.
Our work offers space for clients to process grief, stress, disappointment, decision-making, relationship strain, and the ongoing uncertainty that can accompany attempts to build a family. We provide compassionate, thoughtful support grounded in clinical expertise and respect for each person’s experience.
Whether you are at the beginning of this journey or have been navigating it for some time, we are here to support you with care and understanding.
Family Building and Reproductive Evaluations
We provide psychological evaluations and consultations for individuals and families involved in third-party reproduction and family-building journeys. These consultations and evaluations are often required by fertility clinics and are widely considered best practice. Beyond being a requirement, they can also be an important opportunity to slow down, ask thoughtful questions, prepare emotionally, and support informed decision-making for everyone involved.
We work with:
-
Intended parents
-
Egg donors
-
Sperm donors
-
Gestational carriers
-
Couples and individuals pursuing assisted reproduction
Our role is not simply to complete a requirement. We help take some of the weight off our clients’ shoulders by guiding them through the process with warmth, clarity, and clinical care. Our team offers responsive communication, thoughtful assessments, and high-quality written reports designed to support clients and referring professionals with clarity and care.
Adoption Services and Evaluations
We offer adoption-related evaluations and supportive services for individuals and families navigating the adoption process. We understand that adoption can be both meaningful and emotionally complex, and we provide a professional, compassionate approach that supports clients every step of the way.
We also provide adoption-competent psychotherapy for adoptees, adoptive parents, and first parents across the lifespan. Adoption experiences can raise important questions related to identity, attachment, grief and loss, relationships, trauma, belonging, and life transitions at different developmental stages. Our approach is thoughtful, affirming, and grounded in an understanding of the unique emotional experiences that can arise within adoptive families and for individuals touched by adoption. Whether clients are seeking support during the adoption process or later in life, we offer a safe and supportive space for exploration, healing, and growth.
Our goal is to make the process feel clear, respectful, and well supported while providing clinically sound evaluations that meet the needs of clients, attorneys, agencies, and other professionals involved.
